Since the arrest of Femi Peters, United Democratic Party's campaign manager in October of last year, Senegambia News has been trying to obtain video footage of the rally Gambian authorities claimed was illegal. And today, we are pleased to announce to our readers that, with the help of UDP party militants, these videos are being made available to the public.

The video clip below is the first of many series to be released piecemeal on a daily basis throughout this week.

The first speaker was Alhaji Foday Ceesay who called on Gambians to breakaway from their culture of cowardice in order to salvage their country from the clutches of dictatorship.

His fearless speech was followed by campaign manager Femi Peters, who is now standing trial for organizing an illegal assembly on October 24, 2009.
